The Greek cross fractal is formed by starting with the plus-sign Greek cross shape. For each iteration, replace the four line segments that make up the cross with smaller crosses. Repeating the process gives the Greek cross fractal. The colors don’t mean anything.
The 3-D version starts with a simple 3-D cross, each iteration replacing every line segment with a smaller version of the original 3-D shape.
